Why do I have to study maths?

Maths is very important in real life. You use it day to day from basic addition and subtraction to working out percentage discounts in shops. Some of the more complex maths like algebra is used in fields like computing, including making video games like the ones you play at home. You may not use all the skills you learn in maths in real life, however doing well in maths shows a potential employer you are good at solving problems, you are a logical thinker and that you can learn a set of skills and apply those skills in different and tricky situations.
