Expand the following : (2x+3)(x-1)

We multiply the 2x in the first bracket by everything in the second bracket to give: 2x2-2xWe then multiply the 3 in the first bracket by everything in the second bracket to give: 3x-3Putting 2x2-2x and 3x-3 together we get: 2x2+x-3
