Describe the process of inhalation (inspiration).

Inhale. Internal intercostal muscles relax. External intercostal muscles contract. Ribcage moves up and out. Diaphragm contracts and flattens. Volume in lungs increases. Pressure in lungs decreases. Air moves in from high pressure outside to low pressure in lungs.
