simply fully (2x^2 -3)^2 - (2x^2 + 2)^2

= (2x^2-3)(2x^2-3) -{(2x^2+2)(2x^2+2)}= 4x^4-6x^2-6x^2+9 -(4x^4+4x^2+4x^2+4)= 4x^4-12x^2+9-4x^4-8x^2-4= -20x^2+5= -5(4x^2-1) or 5(-4x^2+1)
