show that f(x)=cos(x) is even and what is its graphical property

If the function is even, f(x) = f(-x).cos(-x) is the same value as cos(+x) therefore the function is even. Its graphical property is that it is symmetrical about the y axis as all even functions are.

The points A and B have coordinates (2,4,1) and (3,2,-1) respectively. The point C is such that OC = 2OB, where O is the origin. Find the distance between A and C.

Differentiate sin(5x) and 3cos(x) and 3tan(5x)

Show that the cubic function f(x) = x^3 - 7x - 6 has a root x = -1 and hence factorise it fully.

Using the trigonometric identity for tan(A + B), prove that tan(3x)=(3tan(x)-tan^3(x))/(1-3tan^2(x))
